Times Tables Rock Stars (ttrockstars.com)
Once children are logged in, they need to choose a rock star name and avatar. Once these are set up the game is set to show rock star names and not your child's actual name. Any coins earned can be spent on adding accessories and changing clothes and backgrounds for your avatar.
Pupils can play on Garage mode where they have access to times tables set by their teacher.
If you choose Jamming then you are able to select your own choice of times tables to practise or challenge yourself.
If children want to appear on the school charts/leadership board then they need to achieve a Rock Speed and Rock Status. You can do this by playing 10 games in the Studio game mode. (A game will only register if you score in it, so if the score is zero it will not count towards the 10 games needed).
There are also 3 interactive game modes where you can play children in other schools OR challenge children and teachers in our school.
Try and practise for a few minutes, a few times each week!!
