Autumn 2022
The children will be learning about their place in the world. They will begin within their immediate environment and explore basic map making skills. They will then move out into the wider community within their local area. Eventually this broadened out into their village, town and their country within the UK.

name, locate and identify characteristics of the four countries and capital cities of the United Kingdom and its surrounding seas
Human and physical geography
use basic geographical vocabulary to refer to: key human features, including: city, town, village, factory, farm, house, office, port, harbour and shop
