COVID-19 Catch Up Funding
Following the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closure of schools, the government issued an amount of catch-up funding to all schools to support with closing gaps in learning. The amount of funding allocated is based on pupil numbers and is paid over two financial years.
Please find below our Action Plan, which details the funding and how we intend to use this additional money to support our children over the coming months.
This plan was originally written for 2020-2021 but is still being used as the gaps continue to be an issue as children continue to struggle with day to day pressures on top of the loss of learning that they are trying to catch up on.
