Summer Term Learning!

This term we are exploring our enquiry question: 'Where is the perfect habitat?'. Our main text, 'Meerkat Mail' and a visit from some special creatures into school will help us to explore what it means to find the perfect habitat. Who would be matched to these habitats? In Science we are learning about the main groups of animals: Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians, Mammals and Fish. We will be researching about what features these animals have and what they are used for. Our History learning will compare seasides of the past and the present and Geography will focus on comparing the children's local village of Brinsworth with a Non-European country's village Gweta. This will take us deep into Africa to a similar area that Sunny the Meerkat is from in the Kalahari desert.
