Literacy
In Literacy, we support children to learn to read and write simple sentences and phrases.
We practise our letters and sounds through our daily phonics and Read Write Inc sessions.
Remember to keep reading and practising your sounds at home!
A wide range of different mark making and real-life writing opportunities will be available for the children to access. Staff will support the children in this process and will be modelling and supporting children to write simple CVC words and begin to write simple short sentences using known letter sounds.
